Operation of Magick

Aleister Crowley set forth a principle in his ritual magick formula that he developed for a purpose that many agencies and groups use even in average society.

Crowley defined Magick in his principle of Thelema as “the science and art of causing change to occur in conformity with will”. He goes on to elaborate on this, that “ANY required change may be effected by the application of the proper kind and degree of Force in the proper manner, through the proper medium to the proper object.” [Magic In Theory and Practice – Aleister Crowley]

How is that relevant to you? Can’t you just ignore it and not be involved and it won’t affect you?

No, there is no such thing as not being affected. You are subject to its principles in everyday programming of society, even in the simple gesture of marketing and advertising. Even in the church as well. And the government use these tactics to conform you to its agenda through conditioning of the mind to direct your emotions, thoughts, and actions.

While the classic definition seems as though it only refers to the practitioner to have his will conform his conscience, it is well beyond that when it applies to those outside your will, and can be imposed on others.

There are several principles (rituals) involved used to bind, break, and banish. The purpose of Banishing Rituals is to eliminate forces that might interfere with a magical operation, and they are often performed at the beginning of an important event or ceremony (although they can be performed for their own sake as well). The use of affecting earth, fire, and water are in operation (elements of witchcraft) to dirty the air and cause ripples of energy in action (also often accompanied by invoking demonic forces).

The banishment is said to clean out the forces opposing the action to bring the conformity to the will of the practicioner. Many times these are actually psychological operations to create suggestion to condition the mind of the antagonist. Used in these rituals are symbols like the Pentagram or Hexagram, as well as other meaningful logos or designs (like the pattern of chaos magick Crowley often used).

Rituals involved include sex rituals (and abuse), conjuring (summoning), and chaos magick.

In society we don’t necessarily see (or recognize) the ritual as they are done in proxy by occult practitioners behind closed doors, but we see in public the tools of the ritual for the result intended. We see the chaos magick, we see banishment, we see the invitation of the will to conform the conscience of the public to open up to allowing the magick ritual. Just that we don’t realize what it is they are doing.
