Flat Earth or Globe with guest MCToon | podcast

My guest Mike Toon joins us to present his rebuttals of flat earth while Darrin brings up the flat earth points and tries defending the claim. We present two different sides for you to decide for yourself. This attempt is just an introduction into this topic, as it was a first attempt to address it.

Listen to “Flat Earth or Globe with guest MCToon” on Spreaker.

On the episode I mentioned I am naive on the topic. My stance has been neutral on this polarizing subject and have regretted bringing it, but due to some requests over the years (and pressure from my co-host who is passionate about this issue) I attempted to at least bring it to the table to say I brought it.

Again, I am not the one able to present this topic in any coherent fashion, nor was my co-host quick-witted enough to spew out the rebuttals to the globe argument on the spot, besides what is recited in websites and videos, but we presented the issue with both sides for a balance for you to decide. There are much better sites on scientific cases for the topic to be well presented, but at least I can say it is on the books now.

Since this is not my expertise or passion, I digress to those who are much more equipped to handle the case. I apologize if I don’t share in your passion on the topic, nor can bring any intelligent manner to it, but there are many others who do.

A rebuttal states that what Mike does is sets up straw man arguments by basing the discussion on the preconceived notion that the earth is a planet and the sun is far away. Therefore the numbers and calculations will be correct and FE wrong. Please take one more look at the Utah Salt Flat pics. Notice the huge amount of curve in such a short distance of about 20 miles. This is laughable. It would mean the ‘planet’ would have a diameter of about a thousand miles rather than 7,917.5 mi.
