A few people have infiltrated the ritual to witness its practices of the Cremation of Care, signing and dancing and acting silly. Alex Jones was one of the ones to get film footage. He interviewed a member David Gergen who got offended when Jones admitted he entered and witnessed their rituals.

The Bohemian Grove is described as a two-week encampment reportedly involves stage performances, rituals, a lot of drinking and open-air urination, the burning of an effigy, and “mock” sacrifice of a baby. Attendees act out of character, faggy, and silly.

Founded in 1878, it belongs to a private gentlemen’s club known as the Bohemian Club. In mid-July each year, the Bohemian Grove hosts a more than two-week encampment of some of the most prominent men in the world. It is accredited to Henry “Harry” Edwards, a stage actor and founding member, announced that he was relocating to New York City to further his career. On June 29, 1878, somewhat fewer than 100 Bohemians gathered in the Redwoods until today where hundreds of prestigious invitees attend the retreat.

It gained attention when journalists infiltrated the event, either by stealth or by pretend interest to report on its practices. They witnessed rituals, odd acts, and somewhat of a Satanic theme.

In the summer of 1980, Rick Clogher gained entrance to the Grove with the help of an employee and posed as a worker during two weekends of the annual encampment. His efforts, the first magazine reporting from inside the Grove, were published in the August 1981 issue of Mother Jones. Around the same time, ABC Evening News aired a special report on the Bohemian Grove.

In the summer of 1989, Spy magazine writer Philip Weiss spent seven days in the camp posing as a guest, which led to his November 1989 article “Inside the Bohemian Grove”. He was eventually discovered and arrested for trespassing.

On July 15, 2000, Alex Jones and his cameraman Mike Hanson clandestinely entered the Bohemian Grove and shot footage of the Cremation of Care ceremony. Jones claimed it was a “ritual sacrifice”.

On January 19, 2002, 37-year-old Richard McCaslin was arrested after his nighttime infiltration of the Bohemian Grove, where he set several fires, heavily armed and wearing a skull mask and outfit with “Phantom Patriot” written across the chest.

Members range from artists to dignitaries.
